Available MemoryFrom time to time, you may need to check if you have enough memory available on your PocketPC. For example, before installing a new program, or if the device is complaining about a lack of available memory, or if it seems to be running oddly and a soft reset does not fix the problem. To check the memory status on your PocketPC:

Generally speaking, you do not have to adjust the slider from its default settings. However, if there is very little blue space left, you may encounter some problems and may have to remove some data or programs. Before you do this, close all running programs or do a soft reset to see whether this is just a temporary problem. You can also check the amount of space left on your memory storage card. Simply tap the Storage Card tab, and select which card if you have more than one in the device at present.
(Yes, that's right! Almost 5000MB on a storage card...it's amazing what they can squeeze in.) |
